CLEARWATER WRITERS

Clearwater Writers is a retreat and workshop program for creative writers, the goal of which is to provide time and space away from the usual life concerns for rest, restoration, and creative focus.

In 2024, Clearwater Writers adopted a new home at the Spirit Center, a retreat facility on the campus of the Monastery of St. Gertrude near the town of Cottonwood Idaho. In 2026, we reduced our offerings to one retreat per year, occurring in March. Ms. Coomer is also available for individual manuscript consult retreats and will happily facilitate a custom writing program for your group.
